Away from the noise of the city but it’s got good access with the local boat behind the building on the canal.

The property was in a good location to access the city centre. The local boat behind the hotel was cheap and fast avoiding the traffic . The staff were very helpful . The room had a washer dryer which was very handy and kettle toaster and microwave.

The room was not what we expected and not sure where the rating came from. It’s very dark and a bit seedy. There’s a men only section in the hotel if you want to that sort of thing. The room advert said it had a jacuzzi but that’s actually a small bath. We ended up grading and paying another £100 for 5 days because the room was small and dark. The hotel needs updating with some bright lights. The pool was also nothing like the photos. We didn’t bother looking for the shared hotel jacuzzi . We should have known better with the price but it was a late booking and thought it was a bargain. Basically you get what you pay for I guess.

Not a 5 star hotel

Location. Was very far out. The rooms were grubby and the whole place with exception of the lobby could do with a good clean and doing up. The staff were very nice though. Also there's a very late opening bar on until 5am over the weekebd which was loud.

The pool area was neglected and the room wasn't very clean

Bearable for a shortstay -

The staff at the front was very lovely & accommodating. It was handy to have the washing machine / tumble dry combo which was probably the best feature in that room. The bed was also very comfortable. The security guards were also very friendly. We do love the old fashioned setting of the lobby. The location was pretty decent. A few 7eleven for any other convenient shopping was the highlight!

On the other hand the kitchen staff was not as nice. We had our breakfast included with the rate but after the first night having to be served so abruptly (rudely) & the food plus the cocktails were not as good as advertised we just couldn't be bothered to have any breakfast for the remaining of our stay. Another note was when We arrive in our room, there was no towels or amenities, they later on delivered it & apologize for it which was fine. The shared shower over bathtub was atrocious. Everytime we have a shower the water just poured out of the tub as the setting of it inevitably bounes all the water out even with the shower curtains pulled across, which was also filthy & has mould on it. The kitchen bench was also dirty & oily, with some finger prints & other greasy marks. Mostly to point: the hygiene & cleanliness was very poor. Remote control had grabby prints all over it as well as the AC control. Swimming pool was closed due to government regulation, it would be nice if it was mentioned on the website or on booking.com so that we didn't have to be disappointed not to use the pool.

A decent enough hotel for a short stay

Staff were friendly and helpful. Dee, the front desk manager made every effort to accommodate my requests and is very pleasant and professional. The concierge staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms differ only in size but all offer a kitchenette and washer/dryer. Using the water-boat at the nearby ThongLo pier on the Saen Saep canal (khlong) is the best way to get around. There is a hotel shuttle too, for drop off only, to certain key spots in the area. The WiFi is good.

Housekeeping had several cleaning issues which management did address. Breakfast was very basic but everything was cold or lukewarm. Rather eat out. The “spa bath” mentioned, is the size of a large bucket!

vintage fasting accommodation, comfortable and modern. the outside looks not painful but the inside looks good

There are no staff or security guards to help lift suitcases

Good value for money, located in a nice area.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was nicely decorated, comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Bar and resturaunt in the hotel is nice, decent food. Located in a very nice area with many nice cafes, bars, resturaunts.

Room was quiet dark, even with all the lights on, not much natural lighting. Shower water ran along the top of the bath tub and down onto the floor every time I showered.
